A selection of pages from Joaquin Portocarero's book "The Quini" which consists of 64 densly illustrated pages with his own hieroglyphics. The book depicts the beliefs and the rituals of a long forgotten tribe, part bible, part dream book, full of ceremonies and truths about existence, death, love and our place in the universe. The book was self published in 2019 and sold out quickly.

Belgian born Joaquin Portocarero is a graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York City (2003) and was raised in Ethiopia, Jamaica, Cuba and Spain.

He has remained consistently active in the visual art world in everything from graphic heavy music videos and animation to film editing and Illustration.
